3. Click OK to export the data. A confirmation dialog box will appear indicating that the data export was successful. Click
OK in the confirmation dialog box.
The following figure shows an example of how to export all major alarms on device to file alarms_major using the percent
sign (%) as the data separator. The resulting data file is described in A.4.

A.2 Exporting Performance Data
Performance Data is different in that each statistic is counted against what is called an instance, or component. The following
figure shows these instances when plotting a statistic for a device. The pull-down shows that the VLAN number IDs as well
as the port numbers are instances statistics can be counted against.
