SET PROMPT
Syntax
set prompt=”prompt”
Parameter
prompt Specifies the command line prompt. The prompt can
be from one to 12 alphanumeric characters. Spaces
and special characters are allowed. The prompt must
be enclosed in double quotes.
Description
This command changes the command prompt. Assigning each switch a
different command prompt can make it easier for you to identify the
different switches in your network when you manage them.
Example
The following command changes the command prompt to “Sales
Switch”:
set prompt=”Sales Switch”
