Description This command configures the SHDSL interface. The SHDSL interface must be
disabled using the disable shdsl command before any parameters can be
configured on the interface.
Example To set SHDSL interface 0 to 2pairstandard mode, use the command:
set shd=0 pair=2pairs bit=fix max=4624
Parameter Description
PAIRmode Selects whether the SHDSL interface attempts to transmit data over
1 pair or 2 pairs (2 wires or 4 wires). For 2 pair operation the
parameter also selects either a standards-based mode, or a
non-standards based enhanced mode.
Default: 1Pair
1Pair,
2Wire
A single pair of wires (2 wires).
2PAIRStandard,
4WIREStandard
Two pairs of wires (4 wires) operating in
standards based mode (ITU standard G.991.2).
In this mode, the bitratemode parameter must
be set to fixed. Automatic fallback to
single-pair mode is not supported.
2PAIREnhanced,
4WIREEnhanced
Two pairs of wires (4 wires) operating in
non-standards based, enhanced mode. In this
mode, the bitratemode parameter must be set
to fixed. Automatic fallback to single-pair
mode is supported by compatible DSLAMs.
