SNMP-SERVER USER
Syntax
snmp-server user USERNAME GROUPNAME remote HOST udp-
port PORT <1 - 65535> v1|v2|v3 auth|encrypted md5|sha
auth-password priv des|aes priv-password
no snmp-server user USERNAME
Parameters
USERNAME Specifies the name of the user.
GROUPNAME Specifies the name of the SNMP group. The user
listed in this command becomes a member of this
group.
HOST Specifies the name of the host that connects to the
agent.
PORT Specifies the UDP port. Choose a value between 1
and 65,535.
v1 Specifies the SNMPv1 security mode.
v2c Specifies the SNMPv2c security mode.
v3 Specifies the SNMPv3 security mode.
auth Specifies authentication is used to verify the server. If
you select this parameter, you must specify an auth-
password.
encryption Enables an encrypted password. This is an optional
parameter.
md5 Specifies the MD5 security mode. This is an optional
parameter.
sha Specifies the SHA security mode. This is an optional
parameter.
auth-password Specifies the SNMP authorization password.
