3. Slide over the retaining clip to secure the power cord (see Figure 10).

4. Connect the other end of the AC power cord to an AC power source.

Note

To increase the protection to your network, Allied Telesyn

recommends connecting the RPS to an AC power source that

operates on a different AC circuit than the switch.
