Examples:

The following example resets all of the channels on the media converter:

RESET MC

The reset process takes only a second or two, after which the media

converter is ready again for normal network operations.

If you are managing an AT-MCF12 or AT-MCF112, you can use the

RESET MC CHANNEL command to reset a specific row of channels,

rather than all the channels. The variables “1TO6” and “7TO12” allow you

to specify which row to reset. The following example resets channels 7 to

12:

RESET MC CHANNELS=7TO12

Note

You cannot reset just one channel on a media converter. You must reset

the entire unit or, in the case of an AT-MCF12 or AT-MCF112 unit, a

row of channels.

LOAD Commands

The management module provides several commands for downloading a new

version of the operating software onto the media converter. The commands

are:

❑ SET LOADER

❑ SHOW LOADER

❑ RESTART REBOOT
