Multicasts are similar to broadcasts, they are sent to all end stations on a LAN or VLAN.
Multicast ltering is the function, which end stations can receive the multicast trafc if the
connectedportshad been includedin the specicmulticastgroups.Withmulticastltering,
networkdevicesonlyforwardmulticasttrafctotheportsthatareconnectedtotheregistered
end stations.
IP Address• : Assign a multicast group IP address in the range of 224.0.0.0 ~
239.255.255.255.
Member Ports• : Tick the check box beside the port number to include them as the member
portsinthespecicmulticastgroupIPaddress.
Clicktoappendanewlterofmulticasttotheeld,orselectthelterintheeld•
and click to remove it.
