Configure the port name at the prompt as follows:

a) Press

RETURN

at the highlighted area to insert a type-in

field and enter a text string.

b) Enter a name of up to 20 characters in the

Port name

field.

— To delete the existing information, enter one or more

space characters and press

RETURN

— If you press

RETURN

before entering any characters,

the previous configuration value remains unchanged.

The new or changed port name displays at the top of the

screen; a deleted name no longer appears.

c) After naming the port, highlight

Return to Port

Status Menu

and press

RETURN

to return to the Port

Status Menu.

4. To quit the

Port Status Menu

, highlight

Quit

and press

RETURN

A time-out automatically disconnects the terminal after five

minutes of inactivity.
