RADIUS Authentication Protocol
This chapter explains how to configure the RADIUS client on the switch.
You can use the RADIUS client with 802.1x port-based network access
control to control who can forward packets through the switch. This
chapter contains the following sections:
“Overview” on page 170
“Configuring the RADIUS Client” on page 171
Note
To activate the RADIUS feature, you must also configure the 802.1x
port-network access control feature. See Chapter 14, “802.1x Port-
based Network Access Control” on page 157.
